ITV Content Delivery have a range of automated and semi-automated machines capable of high-volume ingest from tape/codex into a variety of digital formats. We have the capability to ingest SD & HD tapes en masse, and we can digitise from formats which are no longer supported by manufacturers, including 1”, D-2, U-Matic. Furthermore, we can even digitise from VHS and DVD.
The standard working week doesn’t apply to our working processes. ITV Content Delivery's machines are capable of running 24/7, and can digitise from predetermined points. We believe that we are the only film and tape digitisation specialist offering this level of service in the North of England.
ITV Content Delivery will assess your tapes for degradation, and then conduct a comprehensive digitisation and restoration process, resulting in professional-standard digitised files. ITV’s QC (quality control) suite will also assess the content to ensure that it is compliant, legally-safe and meets the required standards (R128 for audio, for instance).
We have a range of film and tape digitisation and restoration services to support your requirements. If it’s just a single tape, or a whole archive of historical significance, we can offer a level of service that meets your requirements.
